"Your Attitude"

We all have attitudes everyday and we come across people that have them as well. I heard years ago that "Your attitude determines your altitude", and I do believe that is true. Our attitude affects our progress. The better your attitudes are the higher you will rise. If you are going through stressful times today, keep an attitude of faith and victory.Don't be moved by what you see.
As you remind yourself of all the great opportunities you have it will make those though times seem much easier, and you will rise to new levels in your business and your personal lives as well. You will be amazed how your perspective changes when you have a grateful heart and choose to count your blessings instead of looking at your situation. Your attitude will change even those around you..

My husband and I went into a restaurant today to have some lunch (it's Fathers Day) and as our little cute waitress comes up to the table I could tell she had attitude so I determined in my mind to help her with hers. LOL
So I asked her If she had called or talked with her dad. And boy that was the wrong thing to say.She told me she didn't like her dad and that she wouldn't even try to talk with him . I said well Desi it doesn't matter what kind of a dad he has been to you .He is still your dad.And you need to call him and let him know that He has done one thing right in your life and that was helping you be born. She looked at me with a little smile and then I said remember you have a destiny and God loves you. Before we left she told me that we were very sweet people and she thanked us (me) for talking with her. I just pray that she will have a changed attitude towards her dad and forgive him.
See how attitudes does abide in every human beings?
From here on out watch yours. And help others with there's.

Don't Worry Be Happy~!

When Jan and I went to Jamaica a few years ago to teach at a Conference. The Jamaican's would say,
"Don't Worry" " Be Happy" with a GREAT big smile on their faces. They don't ever get in a hurry. As we were driving back into town to catch our plane looking up in the sky wondering IF that's our plane we should be on. The Bishop looked in the side few mirror at me and said First Lady," Don't Worry" " Be Happy"! He must have saw the look of fear on my face. At that moment. I had to wonder what would it be like not to ever worry. You don't have to look very far to know that we are living in difficult times. The news will make it easy for us to be tempted to worry and forget the promises of God. BUT in times like these, it is important for you to keep your mind stayed on the Lord and His promises to us.

"My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus"(Phil 4:19) "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."(Phil 4:13).
Although you are standing on the Word, you are also wringing your hands walking the floors not being able to sleep, wondering If things are going to get any better. How are you going to pay your bills? Many Christian would never admit that they worry instead they will say I'm concerned. My son Tony told me one time that "being concerned" is just a charismatic word for worry. LOL

That's so true. To tell the truth, stress and worry have become a way of life for many-- even for Christians. You allow worry to consume your thoughts instead of keeping your mind stayed on the Lord, and what He has called you to do. You will never accomplish what God has called you to do with worry.I don't want to clutter my mind on things that I can't do anything about. It can be a tough baggage to shed. At times it can even be hard to quiet your mind. (I had to really work on that yesterday). But we are promised peace when you keep your mind on Jesus. Isaiah 16:3 says "Thou wilt keep me in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Paul in the bible had an opportunity to worry. But instead, he chose to keep his mind stayed on the Lord to put on the garment of praise and magnify God no matter what he had to go through.
I know it's hard to do that when everything is falling apart around you. But the words says to put on a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
In Philippians 4:4-7
says: to rejoice in the lord always and again I say rejoice. Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is at hand. It goes on to say, be careful for nothing but in every thing by prayer-and petition with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And I like this verse, And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
When Paul was facing execution he had lot's to worry about. BUT he refused to be anxious and to worry. He rejoiced in the Lord.
So be like the Jamaican people "Don't Worry" " Be Happy"
In Isaiah 63:3 it says; When we rejoice in the Lord, we will have strength, peace, and happiness-no matter what the situation looks like. We don't have to worry about anything.
We only need to keep our eyes fixed on the Lord. And He will bring us through!

I just Have to say "Thank You Lord"

In the bible we read in the book of Thessalonians 5:18
This verse that says:
"In every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Look at this verse it tells us to give thanks in all things, not for all things.
When you are faced with tragedy or temptation strikes, we are not to thank God for them. He is not the author.
He's the One who provides our way out from escape, the bible says. And that's what we are to thank Him for.

In the New Testament you will read that Jesus never gave thanks for sickness or death. Instead, when He came upon them, His first response was to overcome them by God's power.
So give thanks as Jesus gave thanks--not for Satan's activities but for the victory God has given you over them.

Regardless of your situation that you are facing today.. It may be a loss of a loved one, or a bad Dr.'s report,or not knowing where your heading at this time in your life. God is in control and He will continue to guide you.
I know it's not the easiest thing to do right now to give Him thanks for the seasons that you are going through.
But do it by faith.

Give thanks with a GRATEFUL Heart for what you have and what you will have in the future.
It's always a choice uh? :)

You Have What You SAY!

We have what we say We know that's a biblical truth. It says it in Mark 11:23, Matthew 21:21, James 3:2.
Yet we often slip with our confessions. I have to work on that daily myself. It's so easy to talk like the world instead of talking the Word. And if we aren't careful we get what we have spoken. A Big mess!

What you have in your life right now is a product of what you have been saying. If you don't like what you have, you must
change what's coming out of your mouth. You got to change you thoughts. Stop thinking about the negative stuff that's not of God. If it's something that makes you wonder.. If your going to make it, etc. Stop dwelling on those thoughts.. they're not of God!
You got to redirect your thought pattern. Change your thoughts from death-to life, sickness to health, failure to success... you must take charge of your words. I know for some.. it will be very hard to change your words. BUT try it-!!
If you slip with a negative word.. STOP!!!! pluck it up and put a good word in it's place. It won't be long until you will get it and you will see a difference in your life. Be determined to speak His words of love, faith, joy, peace, and grace.. In other words speak GOD'S word over your circumstances.

James 3:7-8 says; the tongue can't be tamed with the same power with which man tames animals. It takes God's wisdom to help you. Prov.2:6 says; He also said His word are spirit and life. I believe that means it takes God's Word to tame our tongues.

You need to ask God to forgive you for not believing that HE is still in control and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.(Eph.3:20).
Listen to yourself think, Do I want what I just said to come to pass? If you just said NO, then stop and correct yourself right then. Replace your words with God's Words. And you will see GREAT things come to pass in your life.
Now...MAKE IT AGOOD DAY!

I choose to believe!

I believe that God has great plans for all of us~~His Word promises that He does."No eyes has seen, nor ears has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him" (1 Cor.2:9).
But many of us are not experiencing  the abundant life because we don't know who we are. We have believed the lies that we are not good enough, unloved, unworthy, and unforgivable.
We have been looking in a distorted mirror far too long. Remember the mirrors you stood in front of at the County Fair? How they would make you look real tall and skinny? And one would make you look real short and fat?
God wants us to look into the only true mirror that will tell us exactly who we are, what we have, and where we are as a child of God~~ His Word. Is the key to living a victorious Christian life. Don't you think it's time to start believing the truth about yourself? It's time to hear God say.I fearfully and wonderfully made you "You are loved by me". It's your choice to change your thoughts today and believe God's best for you.
Say~~ I choose to see myself the way God see's me. Now smile and

We stand on the brink of another President being sworn in to office tomorrow. What does the world hold for us? So many question people are asking. The economy is struggling.. new leadership is taking place...  what are we going to do? Everyone seems to have opinion about how to correct every problem. One thing is for certain. God has neither moved nor changed and when  we know Him the future cannot harm us.
How can you live in peace and don't worry?
God never asks us to do anything that He doesn't empower us to do. In Philippians the bible says that Paul  tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything."The word Anxious means, to be pulled in different directions. English root  word from which we get our word "worry" meaning to strangle. Worry can strangle us,  but trust breaks the hold of worry in our lives. Worry is a control issue. Its opposite is trust. Choose to trust and you will not worry. Choose to worry and you will not trust.
What a great promise is found in Isaiah 26:3 "You, Lord, give true peace to those who depend on you, because they trust you."  Every opportunity to worry is also an opportunity to trust God.  Choose trust!
What are you worry about?
What fear is gripping your heart?
Take action!   Claim  God's promises for you, exchange your worries for God's gift of peace!
Today I choose to face my fears with prayer and in doing so I will declare my trust in Jesus. Casting all my care on Him because He cares for me!

Make It A good Day!
